The articles here were published in ASSAP's journal Anomaly. They are written in a more accessible style than the formal scientific papers and the theory section. For a short introduction to MADS download here. The fields that induce hallucinations in certain individuals are called EIFs (experience inducing fields). MADS is designed to find such EIFs in places where hauntings have been reported. At first sight it might seem unlikely that such fields would occur in domestic situations. For a discussion of what may (and may not) cause such EIFs download here. For a summary of the lab research that prompted the MADS project (including references to useful scientific papers) download here.
